A lot of oil would be coming out of the engine breather tube on top of the Valve cover because of the build up of pressure in the crankcase. The extra oil could probably blow the main crankshaft seals because the crank would churn the oil in the pan. But it also may just leak out of holes that have no seals on them because the oil level is so high - such as the dipstick. Biggest issue with too much oil is that it can get full of air because of the mixing action of the crankshaft hitting the oil. This prevents the oil from lubricating the engine properly which leads to engine failure.
