When my diesel turbo gets hot in traffic it smokes blue
1st of April 2017 ... Number of Responses 1 --
Only when it gets hot in town as soon as I get moving it stops The turbo blew 2-3 years ago and blocked the dpf filter in exhaust Could there still be oil in the exhaust after this much time

Check the crankcase breather filter if one is installed. It may be saturated in oil. Otherwise, maybe the seals on the new turbo are starting to fail. It also maybe due to the length of idling as diesels like to smoke after they have been idling for a while due to being stuck in traffic. I am sure there are several other reasons. Probably worth taking the question to a diesel forum on another website.
